La conquista del west è un po' l'Avatar del Cinemarama
Circa sessant’anni fa, un film si poneva l’obiettivo di riassumere tutte le fasi della storia del west in una lunga saga famigliare. Ne venne fuori La conquista del west (How the west was won), un film a episodi, forse fuori tempo massimo, forse volutamente naif e sopra le righe, che sfruttava una tecnologia innovativa, costosa e fuori di testa, il Cinemarama.
